From this Keeping It Real project, I learned how to work better with others and that the original idea might be more interesting than the final idea. My group members helped me learn this while I was working with them. This group had an original idea of using glowing paint and a black box, but since we all play music, we decided to involve that. I am used to working on projects by myself, so this project was new to me. My group created "The Music Box". It was my group's idea to involve music in our final project because we all have an interest in music. It would also be interesting to see what others think about the project, so we added note cards to the piece and told viewers to write what they feel. The project did fine at the exhibition, but I felt bad because I didn't really discuss my ideas with the group. I feel fine about the exhibition. The project also did fine, but I was not very proud of it. I wasn't proud of it because I did not contribute my ideas to it. I could have spoken up to make the project "mine". I also feel fine about my performance at exhibition. I think I deserve 85% for oral communication because I tried my best to talk to others.
